No gaming experience is worse than playing a game with terrible latency. It’s extremely frustrating, especially when you’re playing games where good Internet matters. What is WTFast?

WTFast (What The Fast or Way Too Fast) is a Gamer’s Private Network which optimizes gaming traffic from your end to the game server’s. How It Works

When you’re gaming, you’re sending and receiving gaming packets through the “Internet highway” along with web traffic from four billion other users on the Internet! It’s inevitable that your packets are going to experience congested traffic which will lead to data detour routes, meaning that it’s going to take longer for your gaming packet to reach the game server, and that causes increased latency or even packet loss.

WTFast has their own private servers set up around the world that you can tap into and use a less congested, shorter, optimized path for your gaming packets to travel through.

When you first access the interface, you’ll be asked to select the game that you are going to be playing. You almost never need to worry if the game you’re playing isn’t on the list. Then you’ll have the option to choose which server you want to use. By default, WTFast will automatically choose the best server for you. If you’re not satisfied with the default server, you can manually choose another server based on geolocation or ping. They go into more detail about this here.

Once you start WTFast and launch your game, you will see performance stats that shows you how much WTFast improves your ping by.

Is This Right For You?

WTFast won’t be beneficial for everyone. If you already have a decent internet connection where you can maintain a ping of 20ms or less, then WTFast is not going to make much more of a difference in the quality of your ping. It’ll only be beneficial for you if WTFast can do a better job creating a path for your gaming traffic from you to the game’s server better than your Internet service provider can. Otherwise, you’re going to see little to no difference in your ping, or you might even see worse results. To make it more visual, if your Internet service provider already provides a path for your gaming packets that looks like the one in figure two above, then it’s not possible for WTFast to improve your ping any further.

You should only consider using WTFast if your Internet connection is absolutely horrendous. By that, I mean you see yourself with a ping of 200ms or more. For whatever reason, if you’re also considering to play a game in a server region that’s a long distance from your geographic location, where you’re going to experience terrible latency, then WTFast can help make that experience better as well.

Certain game servers are also region locked, which means, unless you live in the area where the server is located, you’re not going to be able to enter that server. With WTFast, you can actually bypass this and play in region locked game servers.

Privacy

Compared to traditional VPNs where they encrypt your data, hide your IP address, and all that good stuff, WTFast doesn’t do any of that. The whole purpose of WTFast is to improve the transfer speed of your gaming packets and ONLY gaming packets. Therefore, it’s very unlikely that your sensitive data will be at risk of exposure when you use this.

WTFast’s pricing depends on how frequently you decide to pay and how many computers you want to support. You have the option to pay on either a monthly, quarterly (3 months), semi-annual (6 months), or annual basis.
